Finishing third and parachuting into the Europa might be kind of fun. Would give our younger players a chance to get sorted out as either the real deal or pretenders without the angst and the media glare. Would give Ospina something to do besides the Carling Cup. It's all about qualifying for next season anyway. I would rather see a serious run at the title and another FA Cup final.
We've seen others like Man City and Chelsea do the same (off the top of my head, could be wrong). Sure you get a half week of media consternation, but after that nobody remembers.
