it's almost as if we didn't have enough at the start of the season

It's only a game.

and potentially our reserve right back. Has the meaning of the word crisis changed?

That will occur as and when we are asking players to play out of position due to numeric deficiencies in resources.

Tonight what we have is 4 professional footballers being asked to play in their normal positions in a game of football.

and we end up playing abloke who has played 1 game for us...... not really a situation we should be in

Like we actually defend when we have all our players fit.

Eh?

Some people really need to learn to relax.

1 of which had only played about 20 games of pro football, and then possibly having to play a 19yr old who hasn't proved himself yet isn't the sort of situation we should find ourselves

We've got Alexis Sanchez, you know. How's THAT for the sort of situation we should find ourselves in?

player.

United have a stupid amount of attacking quality.

Champions league qualifier.

Far from ideal, far from normal. If he turns out to be ****, it is arguably on the verge of a crisis.

2. Whoever he is, why would I give a tuppeny fart for what he says, on any subject?

3. What in the name of the Pope's Holy pants does Man Utd have to do with anything?

You're a confusing chap, r.

It's the first game in a series of 6, away from home against our probably rival to top the group. A defeat would be no shame, anything else would be a very good result.

Bellerin is ready to play, if not then he should not be in the position at the club he is in today.

Better is a personal opinion.

The success of each transfer will depend on factors other than just individual qualities as footballers.

Rich

He just wound me up last night when I was watching him. Basically saying that Arsenal don't have anywhere near the quality through the squad that City, Chelsea or United have and until they address this they will never contend for major prizes.

****er.

Peter

I would say it is a rather important game.

If he gets ripped to pieces in the first 20 minutes and is clearly not up to it......well.

Of course, he could have a superb game and then we will all stop worrying.

You then pick up additional points away at the lesser sides in the group and lo and behold you are through.

Out next round then.

p.s. I am not worrying, not in the slightest.

Peter

Apart from the famed DM position of course. The rest of our squad is not up to the lvel of the others. We dont have the quality of striker or depth in defence.

And we wont win the league.

Peter

In a small group the difference between drawing and losing is massive.

I cant say i am too worried but it isnt an ideal situstion.

Weren't Hummels, blaszkowsky and big crucifix all injured for their game against us?

We have a good range of options but equally so do City and Chelsea.

Ben.
09-16-2014, 10:27 AM
They both looked good for the u21 side, if they can come in and do a decent job then we could still be ok.
Bellerin was excellent against Benfica , although the fact Sanogo scored four does lead me to believe it may not be the best barometer.

Problem is that they're all more or less the same. Consider Chelsea, who have everything from Matic to Fabregas taking in Ramires to Willian in between.

Options I meant numerically we have 5-6 established players we could realistically call on before having to resort to crisis.

The crisis is a three month i jury to per or kos.

Trouble is, i think it is almost certsin to happen. It just seems to be the way things go for us a lot of the time. Although we did get lucky with giroud last season.
