I like a mince pie. Unfortunately the rest of my family doesn't, so when it comes for what pies we are going to make I get outvoted every time!

I suspect for a really good one you probably have to make your own mince, though. could be a bit messy.

while on the subject of pies, here's a tip I found out this summer. when making a blueberry pie, do NOT fill it to the brim with the filling. Those suckers expand when heated. What a mess in the oven!
