I think it was a champions league game? Could have been a friendly.
Anyways, he touched the ball about thrice.

Though, I must say, the navy is full of that sort, oddly enough, yet I refuse to fly with anyone else.
Make of that what you will.

Remarkably strange cove with some deeply peculiar ideas on the matter of gyroscopic figures.

couldn't say.
I had to be quite rude to him, at one point. You know how I hate to be rude. :-(

It was kind of the last weekend of the show season, Duxford being the Big One.
They might even have been Gnats out of North Weald. I was watching them training on Saturday for Duxford yesterday.

These blokes bought these Hawks from the RAF at about 40k each. 'Bragain!' I hear you cry. Quite so. But the operating costs are around 6k per hour.
Six thousand pounds per hour :hehe:

The insurance is something ridiculous. But mainly it's the maintenance and the cost of parts.
Six grand :hehe:
fast use..in terms of expense for serving / replacements fixing it tyres etc after every session over 150 or so
as it needs servicing, parts, tyres , re-tune etc the v12 is a nightmare of little tappity tappets if you do a fast hours driving and take it over 140 or so..pricey to run
