would speak to the centre party and folk party from the alliance and see if they would work with them (the socialists). They're doing this partly because no one wants to work with the social democrats who got 13% and also because they probably need the extra seats from the two parties mentioned to form a functioning government.

I've seen it suggested though that the centre party and folk party might tell them to piss off as the alliance hope without a proper workable majority they'll have to have another vote next year. You probably won't get a proper view on what might happen for another few weeks yet.

At the state run language classes i go to half of the people there couldn't even read and write in their own language. Not good if you're having that kind of immigrant arriving in those numbers. You're looking at 5-10 years of investment in them before they're ready to work in most cases.

The moderates didn't help themselves by bringing in a policy that any Syrian who managed to get to Sweden and apply for asylum successfully would be granted permanent residency along with their family members. Madness.

mine (in fact, I'd say it definitely doesn't). But in Sweden the state decides what a better society is and if you don't like it, tough ****. Furthermore, if you kick against the state's ideas enough, they'll criminalise you. That's socialism red in tooth and claw.

If I want to buy a ****load of cheap booze at 8am on a Monday, that's up to me. If the state wants to wag its finger and suggest that's not a great idea, then fine. However, when it tries to stop me it is interfering fundamentally in how I choose to live my life.

If I want to f**k myself up on booze, drugs or shoe polish, that's up to me. Anything else is unwarranted state control.
