does not look happy , poor body language , does not get involved , one wonders if the pace and intensity of Pl suit his style , he needs to improve and fast

for their teams....it's always Arsenal that have all these preparation/tiredness issues with their players.

Look at Costa - fcuker was meant to be out for a month with a hamstring injury. Plays yesterday and bags a hat-trick.

Gotze is kicking it for Bayern, Ronaldo for Real Madrid....just poor old little Mezut is playing like he's missed a pre-season worth of training...

Not buying it...

Ronaldo who has been terrible

Yes Costa has been great but Spain were knocked out in the first round whereas Germany won the final

Your hate towards Wenger is beyond belief

And now our squad is looking ill equipped for the following season.
Just don't understand why he does this. It is almost like he enjoys throwing a spanner into the works of the squad.

Madness.

He may have missed pre-season in the traditional sense of weeks of conditioning work but the German players only finished the WC about 4 weeks before the season so his level of fitness would not have fallen dramatically.

Anyway I don't think his form is a huge concern, yesterday he did okay, there is just a degree of expectancy from fans with a 40m signing that we as Arsenal fans are not used to. He is an absolute class act but has a style that many perceive as lazy. Compare him to Sanchez for example who is a lot more involved and 'active'.

Ozil rest and recovery time

4 weeks rest after an extremely hard season wasn't enough and that is why he started his pre-season late. Some managers such as Murinho decided differently and time will tell who is right at the end of the season.

Andre Schurrle had a very poor match yesterday and was substituted at half-time, perhaps its catching up with him
