Unlawfully intended to kill in the heat of the moment but without "malice aforethought". Either: Shot door intending to kill, or knew someone might be killed and still fired gun

How can you fire a gun four times through and door and argue that you didn't know the person on the other side could kill

know to be occupied is considered a not wholly unreasonable thing to do. Bloody savages, South Africans.

susceptible to influence based on Pistorius' fame, but it sort of screws up the suggestion of racism imo.

It's a shame that their scabrousness and constant use of racist terms renders them untelevisable. In my humble opinion, they're the best things he ever wrote.

would they want the hassle and publicity - if she gives him a proper sentence for the culpable homicide plus the other crimes then they are probably best leaving it be

However, in her statement, the judge stated Pistorius is not guilty of murder dolus eventualis as he could not have forseen that his actions would lead to the death of the victim.

The issue is a small change of wording. Dolus Eventualis should cover actions that Could have and not only Would have caused death.

So maybe, still room for a prosecution appeal.

Thinl it depends on how much jail time he gets.

Wonder if those comments by the lawyers are sub-judice though - they could influence her sentencing :rubchin:
