Not that I've ever heard you mention phones and the like but I am assuming you aren't some sort of perishing savage.

opposite of the cheap, disposable Apple ethos. I have the phones and the Pads and replace them when a new one comes along just like the rest of the drones, but watches are different. Watches are special.

The only people who actually care about watches wouldn't be seen dead wearing a watch as cheap as the iWatch.

Obviously I'd not factored in people who need to know their precise position, heart rate and altitude on a tiny screen which is a massive demographic error.

5,000 pounds. It is not a matter of money, per se, but of quality. This quality may be reflected in the price of the watch, certainly; but the price is not the important factor.

I was quite partial to the genre of dance music at one time and would still regularly listen to classics from the era.

This is just ****e though.

$50 from New York.

It may or may not be real, I can't be sure. :hehe:

Watching football, how amazingly clever and useful. Enjoying music, what a waste of time.

Around the 6k mark.

I'm mad for a Patek Philippe before I cark it, but the 25k puts me off :-(

I tend to rotate between Omega, TAG, Panerai, Breitling and Bremont for everyday wear, then IWC and JLC for evenings.

I'll take your word for it that a watch is as enjoyable to look at and celebrate as a fine Arsenal goal, or to listen to as a great piece of music.

But seriously, how does that moon-sun dial work? What is it saying in that picture?

Sir Charlie of Nicholas

but not the exact model I want.

It's not a competition, you know. To enjoy something it doesn't have to be exactly as good as other things.

I have a few myself, some vintage stuff too and a fewhigh-end pocket watches. Sadly, they are in the deposit box at the bank these days and seldom worn.
