How could one wonder whether or not LVG knows what he is doing with his track record and subsequent signings he has made since arriving at OT? He's pretty much bought 4th place at worst - and that's all that was required of him this season. Huge increase in champions league money next season. I don't think selling Welbeck to Arsenal will come back to bite him. Arsenal miss out on CL next season just when it really matters, just when participation really does balance out the books!
