He needs an early couple of goals in his arsenal career and then the crowd will really get behind him. If he struggles in first few games to make much impact then might take a while to win the crowd over.

In general I think the crowd are pretty receptive to new players wherever they come from and anyone who has come from a rival to us does have a bit of support already (except Silvestre who was a complete waste of space and money).

He will certainly not have an easy start with man city, spurs and chelsea in the next 4 league games so if he comes out of that with credit then we will all love him.
