View Full Version : So, what do we know about Welbeck, then? He seems like he's deceptively fast . Does he hold the ball

up well? What's his finishing like?

As I said, going into the rest of the year with Sanogo our only viable striking option was simply inconceivable.

Don't buy into the Monreal at CB thing. He's a little rat. I'd rather Flamini did it (although I suspect he may never manage a full 90 without a card).

The big shame is not having a defensive midfielder. Unless Chambers can excel there then we lack so much pace and power there compared to the rest. When is Arteta back? I certainly feel happier with him there rather than Flamini.

Don't think he has ever been a prolific goalscorer, but he has often been stuck out on the left wing.

one of our players might accidentally end up in their best position.

It's good news that he knows what the league is all about?

Might reduce the pressure a bit on Sanogo as well. He is still very raw.

But then last week he specifically said he didnt want wellbeck :hehe:

I will never understand why we have we left ourselves so short of defensive cover but i suppose we might get lucky with injuries between now and january. Drastically unlucky would seem more likely but you never know.

We should be grateful that giroud got injured before the deadline.

He was one of those names floating about that we'd sign before he ever came to play in England.

Like that Gignac fella.

lack of cover at the back is a concern

Then again, Henry wasn't exactly prolific before he joined :hehe:

History has shown that it is unlikely that we will go the whole season without losing 2 of Per, Kos and Chambers.

Then again, Park Chu Yang also wasn't exactly prolific before he joined, :hehe:

But then what can a good supporter be, rather then being optimistic about the club outlooks. :)
