an Arsenal supporter. It will be melodramatic and self-mythologizing.

Though you may need to run the whole Sisyphian element and self-mythologizing bits by me one more time.

He'd be a regular ol' Pangloss throughout the entire season until our title challenge ebbed out and the transfer window opened, only for him to be left dissapointed and enraged until the first kick of the season had commenced and the entire process repeated itself ad infinitum.

It ended in a suicidal passage a l'acte. A true AWIMB martyr.

You have actually described me in all but the suicide bit.

To be fair, Sisyphus actually pushed the rock up the slope himself. Arsenal fans would just sit there watching him trying to do so and then whine like spoilt little bitches when it comes rolling down again, while calling for Sisyphus to be sacked and replaced with some expert ball pusher they've seen clips of on YouTube.

season, being forced to sell his best players and buy the rabble no one else wanted or believed in. Up against forces way beyond his control (the financial powers of City, Chelsea, ManU), and yet still working tirelessly towards pushing that stone up the mountain. But God has rewarded him for his unyielding resolve and has put restrictions on the size of the stone (FFP), and Wenger will strike when he has accumulated enough strength.
