I think with Chambers getting the England call up and performing fairly well they'll settle with him as the 3rd choice and go for someone who can play CB but not as their primary poistion. A DM/CB. If they went for a conventional CB it would probably be a 4th choice one and i imagine you're scraping a barrel full of **** there.

The Remy stuff is interesting. I'd quite like him at this stage.

I'm happy to be proved wrong. Fair play to Wenger on the signings he has made without CL qualification assured. We're still 3 players short of what we actually need, though. Can't see any players of the quality that we need coming in now.

Remy is interesting. It shows that wenger is bull****ting about not needing one. He knows full well we need someone, as displayed by going for Ba last summer. I am still puzzled why he has such a problem with finding a striker. He used to love buying them.

I think it is remy or nothing for strikers. We just have to hope he wants regular football over money and easy trophies. With your average modern footballer,vthat is a pretty big ask.

I dont think he is going to strengthen midfield. I thought all summer it would be his last priority. Could still come down to who he can get. If a midfielder he fancies comes up he will take it i suppose. Definitely bottom of my priorities but what the f**k do i know :hehe:
