When I mentioned the coffee at the end they were very nice, knocked a quid off and gave me a coffee to take-away. I didn't have the heart to mention the bacon as well.

That said, there's a place in Keswick does a lovely goulash. That's exotic for round there.

I'm what you might call a hearty local fare kind of chap. In fact goulash is about as exotic as I get, so if we go to Keswick for a meal I'll keep an eye out for it.
