View Full Version : Am I the only one thinking Danny Welbeck could be a decent option?

Probably.

Also, Nani and Ashley Young each earn 115,000 a week.

"...though if Tottenham were to submit a bid it might test united's resolve" :hehe:

if it is a squad player that can do a job in a couple of positions, then it may be a fair option. We already have Podolski and possibly Campbell

If it is looking for someone to compete with or be better than the Girouds and the Sanchezes, then probably not so much.

as good and he has a lot more pace so he'd get into more scoring positions, those ones when Giroud is through on goal and treads water.

Giroud had improved that quite a lot from his first season here. I think you may be being a little unkind to Giroud

Ozil around him pace isn't that important, holding up the ball is more important imo and Giroud is much better than Welbeck in that area

...a lot.

Really good player, very strong runner, decent dribbler too. He's provide the more direct option as a Giroud alternative.
