Feel free to insert a 'his heart was never in it' joke

Manuel also has this, not to mention the various WTF sojourns too.

I've never heard of anyone called Belletti playing for Barcelona

I've suppressed all memories of that evening.

I remember that even before he joined us he had a 'notable' collection of Ferraris. I don't expect he'll have to go on the sick.

Sometimes it feels like I've had nothing but choucroute garnie and beer for about the last twenty years.

right now. :eat: No carbs, either.

All I've had today is some muesli, some fruit, some rye bread and a small amount of Gouda.

sale with the accents in the right place.

I wonder if I might make choucroute garnie?

petit sale.

It was good, but not as good as at The Wolsesley. In future I will leave it to them.

for choucroute, isn't it? You need something with a bit more chew imo.

Do you really think the Grey Poupon best? I'm not convinced the whole thing wouldn't be improved by Colman's finest.

A film about the Zulus beating us? Damn silly idea, that was. No wonder it flopped. Did you see Al Murray's thing about Great British War Films on BBC4 the other night? Wasn't bad. His book 'Watching War Films with My Dad' is quite good. The section on 'The Battle of Britain' made me think of you.

Sir Charlie of Nicholas

Haven't seen the Al Murray stuff. I'll look out for the book.

I watched The Colditz Story the other day. That was awfully good.

I took to wearing my mum's red jacket and white belt and a toy policeman's helmet wrapped in toilet paper whilst pretending to shoot black people with my toy rifle for a couple of weeks afterwards.

I was a singular child.
