When you play a system like AW does then you need a focus at the front. We currently have no credible alternative if Giroud is out for 3 months. If indeed we had an Henry then fine but we don't. Bergkamp was never much good when he was the focal point up front. His strength was playing behind a main striker.

Walcott is still injured and will not be premiership match fit until end Sept, Sanogo is not good enough, Podolski has been tried and miserably failed as the front man, Sanchez is apparently suffering a crisis in confidence because he is not premiership level fit.
