View Full Version : So, what's going to happen now. Will the US halt air strikes in Iraq to save the life of the other

journalist that's threatened in that video, thus encouraging IS to take more western hostages.

Or do they carry on regardless, let him get beheadded to show that they will not be intimidated by Iraq.

The US are going to march into Iraq to flush these ****ers out, aren't they?

is another invasion.

They'll probably just arm the peshmerga to the teeth, as we know everyone is safer when they have more weapons.

ISIS and then hand over the land back to the Iraqis?

You can't have the USA seen to be bending to the will of a bunch of ragged-arsed savages because they know how to use YouTube, ffs!

Increase the size of the British Empire. But proper bobbies on the streets of Bagdhad. That will soon rid us of these clowns.

But then again, I couldn't see the point of the original invasion that caused the vacuum filled by ISIS/IS/IZZLE anyway.

And obviously the isrealis too, you know how they get when they feel left out

Really needed to have a permanent military presence, but unfortunately they kowtowed to all the people demanding withdrawal. Silly.

But I think you'll find all the cities they're currently sacking, not to mention all the hardware they're plundering, is in Iraq.

will f**ked it up. There's no doubt in my mind that the original plan was essentially neo-colonial imo. Unfortunately, the Yanqui are terribly mealy-mouthed and half-hearted when it comes to that sort of thing.

ISIS is just the latest manifestation. If it wasn't this, it would be something else.

I'm sure the people of Iraq are terribly glad to have been the beneficiaries of the far-sighted thinking of the amorphous mass of halfwits we democracies allow to vote. :-(

They're Americans, they love a wee bit of war in a far off land.

I imagine they don't really give a f**k about 1 journalist. He will be a hero anyway. Probably has a flag outside his house.

plot issue. But basically, since there can't be much doubt the TV series is going to overtake the novels in terms of production, they will probably use that as an excuse to just go their own way and ignore the lazy old fat f**k.

Top Gun runs it close, but Top Gun's too competent to be really ****. Christopher Lambert couldn't even speak English, let alone act in it, ffs! :hehe: Top casting.

enjoy it for the historical flashbacks, the appalling script, the dreadful accents and all the beheadings. And Celia Imre.

It lost its way after the first one and became just ****. In the last one, Mario Van Peebles (brilliant name) turns up and they're all aliens or something.

Funnily enough, poor old Christoper Lambert never got much other work. :rubchin:

And they did at least explain the French accent by saying he'd been found by French missionaries, to be fair.

Jean-Claude Van Damme was the same. They usually had to spend the first five minutes of every film explaining his accent. He was usually Quebecois or Cajun or suffering a bizarre speech impediment or something. :hehe:

Seemed to me that their Militia were every bit as evil as Procol Harem, with the only suffering being heaped on the innocent civilians, as usual.
Some real barbaric footage that makes what goes on in Iraq look like a vicars tea part but I notice the media don't really want to focus much on the atrocities of sub saharan Africa :rubchin:
