Leaving us to focus on the league with most of our signings already done and dusted. The likelihood of another season of so close yet so far slightly less certain due to one less pressure.

Wouldn't be so bad, no?

Or just, no?

And even if we weren't in it, we still wouldn't win the league with the current squad.

However, it probably wouldn't be a good thing. Not really.

I think it would be more beneficial to f**k both cups off tbh, or at least the pony one

I would be sad, but not that sad.

I mean, we're not gonna win the f**king thing that's for sure.

Before invariably getting knocked out in the last 16.

I would be sad for us not be involved but I have no doubts we'd be more productive in the league and less fallible to leetle bit over-tired leetle bit niggle etc

You do realise that we aren't going to win the league whether we're in the CL or not, don't you?

I think it would be far less catastrophic than anyone envisions.

I do like our knockout games though, I get all hopeful and misty-eyed.
