I'll surprise a few of you by actually not moaning & being pleased with the result & performance. **** pitch, played away to a decent team, ref was crap (as usual in these games)we played on Saturday evening, we had key players missing. Only negative was the red card but then again Ramsey gets a breather.
I'm happy

Move on and back to our place for hopefully, a much better return leg.

won it from the Ox shot. Thought Ramsey should have been subbed. Looked like a sending-off type of game in the second half.

through-out. Let's console ourselves with the hope that he'll probably dispatch a hatrick in his next game, that being his form.
Cazorla was clearly out of sorts and should have been replaced by TR on the hour, when it was abundantly obvious to all that it wasn't his night.
The passing rythmn rarely went beyond second gear and had no fluency. We lacked attacking sharpness throughout. The whole saga was a bit laboured.
A few good performances, Jack was much better and Chambers acquitted himself well for a newb but more worrying, injuries and cards are already a feature on the new season agenda.
Overall the game was remembered more for the result than anything else.

I am assuming he has been fined a couple of months wages for returning to pre-season in that state.

It makes you look at the rest and think either they are unbalanced, or they don't give a ****. I prefer to believe it's the system.

The rest are just playing their way in. It's August.

His legs don't appear to be connected to the rest of him at the moment.

He does appear to running in treacle at the moment. Which is possibly what the pitch was made from to be fair

He looked like he was going to hurl towards the end.
