Neither he, Ramsey or Cazorla had great games. There is little in the way of conclusion to draw at this stage.

Hopefully this will change when Cavani signs.

Surprised you didn't naturally come to that conclusion.

toned down blandness, because you're a farang and will complain when given proper food.

every time he doesn't succeed in carrying through whatever he is trying to do. That will certainly help elevate him to another level a la Ramsey, who also had to be abused by the Arsenal faithful before realizing that he had to do more.

Btw., Wilshere was brilliant against City. It's not easy looking brilliant against a side like Palace who put 10 men behind the ball and are well-disciplined and hard-working. Ramsey, Cazorla, Alexis, Sanogo -- i.e. our entire attack, -- looked ****e as well. And it's early season and so on and so forth...

I mean, this bloke had to hear it off of his window cleaner.

'n that.

And I love Jack so much  I remember watching that reserves game where Wenger was in the stands with a big ol' grin on his face after Jack scored a beaut and set up another equally brilliant one.
G'wan Jack! :-)

The whole 'not developed' thing, as thrown about by the former Man U players, is just unfair given he's basically had a cripple's ankle for two years.

I'm glad he's going to have more time to play whilst not being relied upon so heavily.

Expectation created by the media and to a degree the Arsenal support also, or elements thereof.

He was seen as the cast iron future of both club and country whereas now the fruition of Ramsey last season couple with his own injuries means he is not even seen as a guaranteed starter in the Arsenal first 11 at a time when the aforementioned expectations would have suggested him to be dominating games etc .. etc.

I think it was Capello for instance who suggested he would be a mainstay of the England side in the World Cup, whereas the truth was somewhat different.

Interesting season for the young man all the same.
