to build a successful team, take a massive chance on building a huge stadium, finance this new stadium with sound business and the maintaining of a side playing great football and consistently qualifying for the Champions League, until they day came when the revenue from the new stadium allowed this once 'small' club to compete with the largest.

That whole scenario is just impossible, isn't it? I mean, if it did happen, then the supporters of such a club would have no reason to moan, would they?

safe. And people were more polite. And you didn't get people eating in the street, did you? And some of the things they eat, eh? Can't abide the smell of curry myself. Disgusting, it is. Mostly made of cat, you know? Anyway, I blame the coloureds. I know you're not supposed to say it, but it's how I was brought up. They're not civilised. Not like us. Dirty, they are. And thieves...etc, etc, etc.

before any stadium move. In the 1930's they were rather big too you know, possibly one of the most well known clubs in world football then the pesky Nazis went & ruined it all.

Tony Adams also claims this, so it's almost certainly untrue.

You seem to be one of those people for whom silver linings are just things that briefly obscure your view of the clouds.
