Asked by a journo if he needed more players, Wenger said:

'More? No. Number-wise we are maybe a little bit short in some areas of the game but the depth of the squad is very good.'

So he's saying 'no', then 'yes', then 'no'.

Talk about covering all the bases!

Thus, number-wise we are great, but short in some areas, but overall depth (in terms of numbers) is fine.
