Fantastic player in a position where arguably they were a little light, replace Lampard in the team/squad structure so a huge upgrade in that respect. Chelsea needed Fabregas, we didn’t. That is why I would not compare their signing him to us signing him at this stage.

If you look at the fee paid and the comparison to the others named then it just makes the deal even better. I fully expect him to be the catalyst for them winning the title this season.

Ultimately it is just a journalist’s opinion all the same.

Could be a total flop of course.
