a) How does she know what he rehabilitation he's had? And b) She seems to be annoyed that he's maintaining his innocence.

Surely his early release is a sign of his rehabilitation (in the eyes of the prison board), and what if he is innocent? I mean, he might be, right? It's a possibility. Taking away his job based on the fact that she's not happy about it seems a little unfair.

Although, of course, I doubt whether many fans would care about his innocence (or guilt) if he starts banging in goals again. Which is a little short-sighted.
