the Jewishers over what they perceive to be Israel's transgressions in the Palestinian territories?

Or are they one and the same?

Although I'd have to say that a certain amount of that is down to pro-israel types calling any criticism of Israel anti-Semitism.

One may simply be appalled at what they see as the human injustice and the killings of innocents as opposed to hating you lot en masse.

Look, for instance, at the description of any Jew who dares criticise Israel as 'self-hating'. If you insist on making the choice that binary and describing anyone who disagrees with you as an anti-semite, it sort of becomes a self-fulfilling prophesy.

That said, there are plenty of people who simply can't stomach Jews and for whom Israel is simply a convenient opportunity to spew bile.

So, in other words, yes and no.

Underground. I've seen more offensive graffiti in my local pub (especially the stuff about your mum).

She posted something about there not being any outrage about ISIS murdering christians in Iraq because nobody could blame it on the jews.

I pointed out that it could be construed as a bit anti-Semitic to equate the actions of Isreal with a fundamentalist terror organisation who view the lives of people of different faiths as without value.

There's the problem right there, you see? Generalisations like his force everyone into absolutes.

To my mind, anyone who sees no wrong in Israel's actions is just as bigoted as anyone who sees nothing but wrong in Israel's actions. Israel's actions and attitudes are understandable given its history and that of the Jewish people, but tout comprendre ce n'est pas tout pardonner, I'm afraid. And the same goes for the other side.

There are clear wrongs on both sides, but the acknowledgement of that fact seems to have been rendered impossible by profoundly unhelpful articles like that.
