Will you spend the rest of the evening doing poi sticks and having a drumming workshop in your yurt?

You want to get into this sort of thing. It's cleansing.

Obviously, should I ever eat wholewheat pasta you have my permission to terminate me with extreme prejudice, but I stand by brown rice.

Reading Boyd's Ordinary Thunderstorms at the moment. It's starting to dawn on me that it might be a bit ****. What say you?

It was how I'd imagine a Dan Brown novel to be.

In fact, bits of it read like parody. I genuinely laughed out loud at the bit about the business tycoon wearing no pants on the tube and enjoying the frisson of his glans on his trouser seams. :hehe:

I've broken one of my golden rules there. God knows where this will end.

However, brown rice is a staple of a Jamaican diet. Blame my mum!!

It's rather sweet. Far too much plot, of course. But really rather sweet as an homage.

It's only edible when put in a curry or smothered in cheese
