About an hour into the movie i really had to go to the bathroom. She said she did too. We were at the bottom of the theater so we went down and around. I didn’t want to block anyone’s view so i ducked my head down, and sure enough i didn’t see the step in front of me and i skid me knee. I heard a couple of people laugh at me, but i ran like nothing happened. I was so embarrassed.

Although there's still no explanation of how come these f**king chimps can suddenly speak. :furious:

by Asians. It's not racism, it's just that their films are mostly ****.

He's CGI Andy Serkis, ffs! You disgust me. You've been living in rural Yorkshire too long.

You'd better hope Headgear doesn't see this or you'll be out on your arse.

It turned out it was some nobody from Spooks (more for the rich seam) which is apparently a minor bbc show, and not JLB's premier ball breaker and big swinging dick.

Actually, the first movie would have been much funnier if Johnson had played the rather tiresome and goody-goody chimp.

What didn't you like? Was it all the apes?

The apes looked fantastic and were very nicely played - some great touches in terms of translating typical ape behaviour into the more intelligent beasts they had become (the asking for forgiveness move is well done imo).

However, the human characters were paper thin, half of them seemed to have little purpose to them. The writer kept introducing what you'd think were important elements to a person's backstory and then never mentioning them thereafter.

The plotholes were so plentiful it was embarrassing, including one absolutely massive one that made the ending of the film a complete nonsense As for how the apes get armed up, it was beyond stupid.

It seemed as if the director had said to the screenwriter - I have these half dozen set pieces in the can - write me something simple to link them together. Don't bother too much about the detail, no one will care.

The set pieces weren't even that good.
