on a separate note I was infuriated by a article about Joel Campbell yesterday.

'Despite being singed in 2011 he has spent 3 seasons on loan and hasn't played one competitive game for Arsenal'

I don't even know where to begin with such rubbish :furious:

I am not sure why he has brought this up at this point. I hope it is just a few comments from a bigger interview.

Apart from that he didn't say that bad really.

And Campbell hasn't played a competitive game for us.

Are you a very angry man, SBPH?

hugely disappointing to see Suarez leave for Arsenal at that time.

Of course, it confirms what was obvious, that Suarez was never, ever gonna stay at Pool beyond last season.

a move from Liverpool to Chelsea.

Where was this thinking process back then?

in for him, using his own personal experience of them "coming back" if he played well.

So he could've gone to Real or Barca himself by his own account, but was going to f**k off to Chelsea and do exactly what he told Suarez not to.

I'll find that later.

I am not annoyed at all actually. :-)

Conclusions drawn from isolated facts are often inaccurate, and the implication here is that Campbell 'hasn't been given a chance' in 3 years by Wenger, whereas the reality is simply a matter of regulation.

and told you excitedly that the Arsenal had scored 5 goals at Old Trafford. "Woohoo!" you would cry, turning rapidly in the direction of the nearest hostelry, there to raise a glass in salutation of your team's victory. Your rage upon discovering that your erstwhile interlocutor had failed to mention that United had scored 10 would be something to see, would in not?

Liverpool and there was no realistic way they'd ever hang on to him. Although I'll admit that that aspect of the story has been rather overlooked.

I may have had ¤20 on +14 goals in which case I would have hung up, phoned said hostelry and told them to make plans for my arrival.

Generally speaking I tend not to get angered by journalism. Most of it is lies or rambling of piss stained beer sodden men with remnants on their breakfast in their beards (sorry mate).
