I was half way through Disgrace until a couple of months ago but left it in Wales. It was excellent (from what I got through).

He always used to give his new video to my Mum (she works in M&S) with a note for me, once he forgot to bring in the video and went to Virgin round the corner and bought a copy to give to me.

He also spent absolutely ages signing and messaging kids "homework diarys" at our school (his son goes there).
