anything to do with the Russian leadership. It was an act of terrorism. Some people think that terrorism and murder of innocents is ok if you support the cause (Martin McGuiness, Gerry Adams or anyone who things Nelson Mandela is a hero for example).

All i'm saying is that you can't blame the country for crimes of a lunatic element of its people. To believe that this act was sanctioned is utter madness.

Your hatred of this country and its allies strong and malicious. We know that. But couldn't you do something about it, like go and fight with ISIS, instead of going on and on and on about it?

And yes, I know consistency is the prog band Goblin of simple minds (thanks b), but I do feel to have any actual authority we should probably stop castigating people for doing precisely the sort of stuff we do/did.

I'm funny like that.

of this incredibly benign system from whose teat you greedily suckle, (about which I have moral objections), but, on a broader level, lose any respect by lacking the courage to do anything about it.

I want you, Owen Jones and Laurie Penny to put stop with the jibes and the bitching and have the balls to buy some weapons, take to the hills and have a revolution. Come on, if you hate everything so much, do something about changing it. You can't change anything democratically, of course, because most people realise just how good we've all got it, broadly speaking. Your option is the gun, the knife and the bomb. Man up, j.

Why could it not have been a couple of bored, drunk rebels having a bet about who could hit that plane in the sky?

I'm assuming a surface to air rocket launcher is not the most complex thing in the world to use?

Seriously, owen jones could get battered by a crisp packet in a strong wind and penny, whilst fearsome looking, would clearly object to every f**king utterance on the grounds of an implicit gender imbalance.

Sadly, C, they don't make revolutionaries like they used to. I'm reduced to taking the fight to the message boards, they are the thin end of the wedge.

That said, you and berni are doing a fine job of being a john wark against my advances. Keep it up.

Only today we lost another fine soldier in camp freddy :-(

Have I mentioned that I'd like to do an angry sex on her?

giving her the hard, fast strokes right from the get go? I suspect she'd probably enjoy it so you'd be wasting your time. T'would annoy her far more to tell her what a 'pretty little thing' she is.

What the article does is assuage Owen’s conscience. He likes the fruits of modern UK, the wealth, security, the ability to project values he approves of on the world stage. He just doesn’t like the industry, trade and moral compromises that go hand in hand with that position. So this article with its sneering “doesn’t it make you proud” allows him to square the circle.

He can be dismissive of British perfidy, he can be outraged that we trade with dubious regimes but he happily accepts the fruits of our global position and indeed is most exercised about how they get distributed to make sure groups he approves of gets more of “their share”.

in short its an easy essay to write.
