I think I'd probably have a bit of thigh, treating it like a BBQ dish, slow cook it and hope for the best. Lots of BBQ sauce. Probably wouldn't have guests round, apart from one.

with just some light cooking. Skinny, whippety people, on the other hand, you'd need to slow cook.
Generally, though, I make you right. Thighs and buttocks would be your choice cuts.

magret de canard. So the skin would be beautifully crisp and well seasoned, but the flesh underneath would still be ****. I think you'd want something quite acidic to counter the richness of the arsemeat, so maybe a red wine reduction made with the pan juices. I'd serve with some saute potatoes and a green salad.

I think there's no shortage of bovine, velour-tracksuited types who I could probably start farming as the apocalypse started to kick in. I'd render them docile with Sky telly and feed them exclusively on bacon-flavoured wheat crunchies.

I've cut my thumb, j, and I can assure you that my skin is nothing like that of a duck; nor is there a deliciously thick layer of sub-cutaneous fat to be rendered.
I fear Berni's Barbecue is going to deliver us dried-out, tough lengths of pseudo-jerky.

However, the arse of a tubby, female (less shaving required) resident of Cotmandene would make for fine eating imo. Muscle bairely used and plenty of fat for basting.
