View Full Version : Hmmm. Raw, cold cauliflower curry is actually rather nice. Who knew?

Not counting potatoes, of course. But me and potatoes aren't on speaking terms at the moment.

What type of c**t thinks you can have curry without meat?

(thats rhetorical)

I have quite happily eaten meals of both only to realise afterwards that I hadn't actually had any meat.

but a few.

Cheese goes a long way towards filling the meat gap imo. Although you're f**ked if you're a vegan - but that serves you right.

given the general diet is some meat and then some more meat. Even potatoes are deemed as something of an extravagance

get decent pizza at all sorts of chains. It is pretty simple, after all.

It's just a shame that so few places can actually cook pasta well. :-(

The only chain that serves a reasonable pizza is Rossopomodoro. The others offer nothing but a flabby approximation.

Pizza Piazza used to do something quite serviceable, but I think they've gone, haven't they?

Napoli é in Westerham is still the best I've found in UK.

No, neither have I, but still.

That place on the Blackstock Road did a half-decent effort as I recall. Although I was usually hungover and carbo-loading, so it's difficult to tell.
