View Full Version : Podolski is off. I like him as a person but not as a footballer. Good riddance.

Vermaelen will probably be the only 'major' one to leave, imo.

I'd prefer Schneiderlin personally, was really impressed with him in that WC game, only Equador but he looked really physically imposing, his passing range is very good as well.

I get the feeling our major business is sort of done though.

f**k all after that. He's behind a long list of players as well, which is probably more significant than any other factor. For the left hand side Ox, Cazorla, Podolski, and Sanchez will all be ahead of him. For the right hand side Theo, Ox, Sanchez, and Gnabry will all be ahead of him. Up front Giroud, Sanchez, Sanogo, Podolski, and Theo will all be ahead of him.

He'll probably get a couple of pre-season games to show what he can do.

year.)

I know he doesn't do enough else to justify starting, but it's perfect having someone on the bench like that.

There have been quite a few games in the last 2 years where he's come off the bench and turned the game around.

Keep him for one more year at least.
