Hamas claimed they weren't offered a ceasefire yesterday, and anyway most of their leadership are understandably in hiding. Its a military offensive, C. I find the lack of proportionality offensive but there you go.

But it seems to me dreadfully fashionable to simply blame the Israelis. Hamas are radical loonies, dedicated to the destruction of the state of Israel - (and however you feel about Israel, it does exist and was established by the UN), so you have to understand Israel's desire to protect itself and its citizens. :shrug:

you are an absolute fool if you cannot see that no country in the world would tolerate constant rocket fire on it (which started much earlier this year than was reported). Hamas knew exactly what they were starting and now want to be rewarded for it.

Thats the same Hamas that have been caught (again) using pictures and film of kids killed in other countries (this time Syria) portraying them as victims of the bombing. Absolute tragedy is civilians are being killed due to the leaders' refusal to live in co-existance.
