View Full Version : I don't think people can be annoyed at Wilshere for smoking. When cigarettes are legal.

All this role model business.
Plus they are only $5 a pack in Vegas. Or $10 if you buy them from the lady on the casino floor who walks around selling them.
If he'd been seen gambling there wouldn't such a story.

is fine because it's not going to make your respiratory system more inefficient over night. Smoking does.
If Wenger has set out rules for his players not to smoke then I believe Wilshere should and will be punished heavily - even if that means he leaves the club. If he can't obey simple orders from the manager than he leaves. Fin.

Don't let him having a cigarette be an excuse for not being that good.
only had a little go on it' is not much of a defence in a court of law, is it?
If Wenger has told the players not to smoke under any circumstance and he has then it's a breach of trust (no matter how many cigarettes he smoked) and I would expect to see him punished to a greater or lesser extent.

handsomely?
It's fine if you only break the rule a little bit?
He has either broken a rule or he has not broken a rule. If it's the former he will be punished. It's pretty black and white.
The only thing I don't know here is what rules Wenger has on smoking.

interesting
one pic of his mate giving him a lug when he's clearly had a few, is perhaps a bit naive but nothing more
If he has broken a rule (which I suspect he has) he will be punished and rightly so.
they've been broken.
We don't know that he isn't at it in his house/other places away from the media's eye.
It is definitely a mistake from young Jack and if he's punished he will learn.
Hit the animals until they learn - simple.

and rules are made to be broken, r
I have no issue with it all.
World's best ever rugby full back smoked 40 Gauloises a day, Serge Blanco
He'll do his fitness tests when back in training and I'm sure then if there is an issue it will be noted
fine and a slapped wrist, imo

I fully expect and in fact hope Jack is severely punished. Possibly transfer listed.
