law. But if you try a search on a Google EU site and then on a non-EU one the number of hits is often the same despite the warning on the EU search that links have not been shown etc. Liars!

That is why this EU law has been passed. In order to put pressure on the EU to change this they are telling porkies on the extent of the effect it's having.

Companies behave badly and lie to the authorities all the time.

In many ways he would be perfect to make government policy on the internet

The amount of traffic a page got wouldn't change, would it? That would be a greater distortion of the actual situation.

the same even though they've specifically informed you on your EU search that links HAVE (not might have) been removed!

"Results" would be more accurate.

Can you not see how the results would be the same with and without the content removed? It's literally just the displaying of the content which has been legislated against.

same. They say they have removed stuff but in fact they haven't. You need to try it with something which has few results obviously.

Eg "whatever you've searched" - there are 4 results on both searches, however the .co.uk says they have removed results, the .com.au doesn't. But they both have 4 results.
