If he has, then he is probably somewhat obliged to write the thing. If not then obviously he can tell us to f**k off, but if you want to be a remembered as a really great writer surely you should be able to finish the story you started.

Although I like the sound of the mackerel lunch. Jacket pots with cheese and beans is also passable.
