The plan has always been for him to move into the heart of the
Arsenal defence with Per, Kos and Tommy.
As far as I'm aware that is still the plan and he's very much chomping at the bits in training. I think Per, Kos and Tommy will be most surprised when they get back.
Carl has improved again physically this summer and we're all pretty excited for him.
Our future club captain is going nowhere.
if we're interested in another right back then my suggestion is that there's an issue with the original one we're after and he might be staying at the club he's at or moving back to France.
