The whole thing reminds me of our games vs Liverpool this season.

we got tanked in the first 20 minutes just like Brazil....shellshocked...the scoreline was a joke....few days later we man up and pull of a super 2-1 win at the Emirates.

Argentina have it in them to grind this out....a lot more organised and disciplined than Brazil and It's about time Messi puts on a show...reckon he'll be super pumped for this...game of his life and all that...

In the knockout stages Argentina have played two times ET/pen, Germany only one.
The Germans will have had a days more rest, and they played the last 45 minutes yesterday conserving energy.
Di Maria out is a huge blow as well which was fairly obvious today.

Wait a few days before you lump on Argentina, I can only see people driving the odds upwards. In the last 15 minutes it's gone from 1.72 on Germany to 1.70 (I can't be bothered to look up what it is in fractions).

I lumped on Germany right away, but I hope Messi will lift the trophy.
