at least for Chile, a touch hit and miss for Barcelona, but then he has to keep trying to see how many they can get Messi to score.

Like this silliness to spelling van Persie with the small v when he played for us.

Presidents in dark glasses and ornate military uniforms, cocaine, grinding poverty for the native population - that sort of thing, innit.

I think 19 were at home and some of their fans aren't convinced but he is really restricted, everything is about Messi.
I think he'll be great regardless but if we can give him the same freedom Chile do then :cloud9:

Chile is the won where they overthrew a democratically elected government because they thought they were too left wing and installed a more agreeable junta, Thatch's mate Pinochet.

Must say after that I am lost.

You have to love the latter for what he did to the Scotch in 78.

International football is supposedly **** but this is being called one of the best world cups.

Let's be honest, had he declined us and ended up in Liverpool for example then chaps would be falling over themselves to find ways to lessen his achievements.

Is the perceived lack of quality in La Liga not used often to lessen the goalscoring achievements of Mr Ronaldo?

I read a Barcelona forum to see if they were too bothered.

Is there some sort of deviancy barometer, I fear I may be in trouble http://www.awimb.com/images/smiley_icons/ohwell.gif

league.

Look at the scoring rates of players from most of the top teams. A goal a game is not uncommon and that never happens in the Premier League.

The Premier League is the most competitive league in the world, for sure.

Sometimes I wonder about you, Jorge. You consistently have very odd opinions.

than any other league in Europe. The fact that the PL is the only league in Europe with real competition makes it better to watch. The fact there is only one winner in Germany, 2 in Spain, one in Italy (at the moment)2 in Portugal and one in France means 90% of the games are forgone conclusions.

often plays behind the striker for Chile.
That said if we bought him and played him deeper I wouldn't complain, he's brilliant at pretty much everything.

I mean, it would be crazy if we were to use some sort of benchmarking system like, say, the UEFA cup to look at these things wouldn't it?

Could be proof of the competitiveness of the Premier League, I suppose; of the teams in the WAFFA that are good enough to win it, I imagine half want to try to finish in the top four and the other half don't want to risk relegation.
