Although I think he's decent the reported £12m seems quite steep.
After 'project youth' we seem to have gone completely in the other direction, since the 8-2 with Arteta, Mertesacker coming in.
You would have thought a promising 21 year old playing in France and reportedly available at a decent price has Arsene written all over it, perhaps they are asking for too much or that stupid African cup has put us off.

Seems more like a wing back.

I had a quick look at a Newcastle forum and they were all moaning at Pardew for not letting him get forward more.

although you may well be right regarding the logic behind it.

*Bellerin is the real deal, not 100% sure on Jenko but hope he proves me wrong

of course he has made a couple of rickets but all young defenders do. The sneering from the likes of Rich and Neg has much to do with the fact with the way he looks rather than the way he plays

at Arsenal's London Colney and then back home again, an 18 mile round trip.

Perhaps if he showed the same dedication to learning to play football we might not have such a bostonbrian on our hands.

U21 side.....in other words people whose knowledge on football I'd trust 100x over yours, no offence like

f**king deviants.

I wasn't disagreeing, btw. Just wondering how you knew he was so good. I have never seen him play seeing as I don't have time to watch reserve team football.

and a good cross but he just panics when put under any sort of pressure, his constant petrified expression doesn't help much.

did you see my Lahm theory? :sherlock:

That Lahm theory is quite a popular one among Bayern fans - many of whom are not big fans of Pep

Aurier is basically Theo Walcott, if you know what I mean.

I'm not sure if it's something that will come with time.
I've watched him quite closely and his passing when put under any sort of pressure is definitely a problem.
