When we signed him Wenger said :

"We are delighted to have signed Chu. He will add true quality to our attacking forces and will be a valuable addition to the squad."

Of course they do because there are rare instances when someone signs a **** player deliberately.....except maybe when it increases far east revenues.

I think that apart from league Cup he only played about 20-30 mins in proper games and he looked so out of his depth it was unbelievable.

Oh well with him and Bendtner gone a bit more finances freed up for those top quality signings.

what the guy who will only sign players that are better than we have.........well if Park is the barometer of quality then he might as well sign my grandmother as she would be better than Park...and she is dead

...you'll see that the boy Finsbury probably paid for himself. if he didn't then we wouldn't have signed him.

Add this to the fact that he literally only played about 90-120mins of football for us and surely you can see that any gripe you had over the whole thing could only possibly be a very, very minor one.

Now, the idiocy of giving Bendtner a six year, 50kpw deal is something else, you might be justified in actually moaning about that. Even if Birmingham, Sunderland and Juventus ended up paying the lions share of that.

I can picture it already...

Real Madrid are delighted to announce the signing of Arsenal tea lady Betty Brewer for an undisclosed fee. "I've been at Arsenal for 43 years and I felt I needed a new challenge," said Betty, 64.

Betty made 27,586 cups of tea during her Arsenal career. In 1972, she acquired the nickname "the teabagger" after being caught in an uncompromising situation with Arsenal goalkeeper Bob Wilson.

the problem is that the more wages we waste on useless tossers who contribute nothing constructive on the field the less we have available to sign top players. I would rather we have 2 less players in the squad list and sign a player like Costa or Benzema.
