You might also want to factor in the costs to the exchequer based on the disputed status of the Duchies, who the royals continue to weakly argue should be set up more as charities than actual multi-billion pound businesses.

Still, they *did* pay for their own wallpaper so there's a light at the end of the tunnel for republicans there, I guess.
