If I go to a pub/restaurant type place. Why cant I have the bar menu in the restaurant area.

typical English food. good for all the visitors I have over. Since then they contacted me with this set menu but I don't want it.

of what you originally liked about them and send it to maitre'd with a nice complimentary note, then call and follow up saying what drew you in, special needs ( yours not his) etc and nail down a small set menu

and if the restaurant is full of cheap bar food then the place will go out of business and people will lose their jobs and starve.

and does restaurant versions with an extra thing like some extra veg and then adds 20% on it so its restaurant version...plus if some cnut asks for a bar dish in main restaurant they just say yes ok sir we have the restaurant version of this with ..peas or whatever :-) and chuck some cash on top shimplpe
