Unfortunately not but I know a few people that have been there several times if you need any info; I also have 2 very good books for holiday in Greece.

I do know is the ex capital of Crete and known as the best place to visit in Crete

We are planning to visit Crete next Fevbruary

Falasarna on the west coast is an ancient port - now inland as the island has tipped up with the weight of all the hotels built on the East coast.

If you fancy the trip to the capital Heraklion there's the famous palace of Knossos, considered the inspiration for the Minotaur legend.

Also loads of WW2 stuff around if that's your bag.
