The people... you can't imagine it. The conditions they live in, the hopelessness, the squalor. And they're dangerous. If they suspect you have food or valuables in your vehicle they will drag you out and tear you limb from limb.

I'm not sure it's wise to take my kids to such a medieval place. Are the people over there like Geordies or Scousers? I met a few Geordies and they seemed quite all right, as opposed to the Scousers I met who were disgusting and on top of that I couldn't understand a word they spoke.

Seriously though, it's a very lovely area. Lots of great restaurants as well if you fancy a special meal on occasion. This is one of the best restaurants in the UK
