Cazorla lacks stamina and defensive ability , Cesc is better, Wenger not ruthless enuf

Burning his shirt we could have had him back but we didn't want him, not his fault

Same old Arsene.

Not going to spend £40m on a striker when he can waste 38 games turning Yaya into one.

would be quite frankly a ridiculous thing to do. Just making up supposed weaknesses to suit your argument isn't particularly clever either

and why he was so cheap. Not like there was a shortage of takers. Don't get me wrong I would love to have had him back

I wonder what Cesc Chelsea will be getting? I have to admit, I have not been following him while he has been in Spain.

Cesc can only play centrally, he cannot play as a defensive midfielder thus one of Ozil and Ramsey would have to be sacrificed.
I think we will probably buy an out and out left winger anyway and Cazorla will be a bit part player but a bit part player who can cover more positions, didn't cost £30m and is already integrated into this group, he's also very good.

Emirates open training session when he came over to the crowd at the end to acknowledge everyone. We knew then for sure that he was leaving. Shame that he will be now be turning out for a Premier League rival but he is hardly the only one!!

But I suspect Mourinho will want rather more than that.

perhaps I don't have your gift.
I like Ali, although I keep thinking we've signed Amla.
I'd probably try swapping him and Ballance around, think he is more suited to facing the new ball.
If we could get Trott back at 3 and somehow find a spinner from somewhere, India?, we may be ok.

Any advances on

Fabianski

Sagna
Toure
Senderos
Cole (if he stays in England or Clichy)

Larsson
Fabregas
Nasri
Pennant? (Ok I struggled with that one)

Van Persie
Adebayor

That's actually quite depressing really

Enough for Jose's liking.

still think his spin could be pretty useful. Hope they can kick on today. Could be entertaining - Broad, Jordan and Plunkett could have some fun

I'm am convinced* of this. So expect Ronaldo or Messi to be unveiled after the World Cup.

*not really.

also, he has always been able to wack the odd ball.
Jordan is great to watch, ball striking is unbelievable, I have no confidence in Broad doing anything, what has happened to his batting is on a par with Finn's bowling.
The key is the start, if these two can go on for a bit I can see them getting demoralised pretty quickly.

So much for the "they fell slighted, they'll really be up for it" mantra

that their attack isn't very good and lose heart, must be depressing to go from Murali and Malinga to this, although I do quite like Kulasekara.
