to you with DHL etc as they pay all duties and taxes then invoice you. Did you / they put down a value of more than 15$on the package ? If so you will be liable for duty and tax which is the item + the cost of shipping then the % they charge is based on the commodity code. Customs need paying directly before they will release it , companies like DHL have deferment accounts hence they can keep the parcel moving.

It's best to contact customs directly and try and sort it to be honest. Usually its heathrow area not coventry

the package it will half any possible customs duty but don't know if that's true.
I'll let it sit in customs as I don't want to draw any unnecessary attention to the contents.

then value 1$ ..sails through :-) ..2 names thing soundsl ike it will cause customs to look at it more as sounds suspicious tbh ! so onme person can deny contents when its drugs and say its other bloke...very old/bad trick
