I doubt much will happen this summer until the last minute. The club will not shell out money until they know we are in the champioons league group stages. Without that we wont need a big squad.

We finished 4th twice and in both the following transfer windows, we waited until we were in the group stages before doing and major business. The one time we finished 3rd, we had wrestled up or transfer business buy the beginning of July.

I'll be happy to be proved wrong but I won't be holding my breath.

I don't think you can base it on previous anyway given the huge increases in both commercial and tv revenues, the two combined being worth more than double what the £30m champions league qualification brings.
